It's been a tough week for Columbia.
Yet the opinion content on Spectrum for the past several days hasn't addressed that thoroughly, going on as if it's been business as usual. That has led to some criticism, which is understandable. Yet I think there's also a valid case to be made for deliberately refraining from participation in the frenzy that's descended on our campus.
