Even though my work (and my laundry) is piling up and finals loom ever nearer, sitting here on the eve of the last class of the semester, the end is in sight. I was almost a little surprised when I started seeing “year in review” lists appear, as if the end of 2010 somehow snuck up on me unawares. Sometimes I feel it’s so easy to run on a school schedule and forget that the rest of the world has a completely different perception of time. But an advantage of splitting the year into semesters instead of seasons, and the breaks between them, is the intense reflection that such organization allows. Looking back, I can’t believe how much has changed in less than four months.
