This week, we are featuring a series of student opinions on last week's drug bust. To read yesterday's voice, click here.
There have been, as far as I can tell, three primary responses to the drug bust last week, in addition to the classic Columbian apathy among the student body:
1) The law-and-order response of, “They got what was coming to them”
2) The institutional response of, “What a nightmare for the administration”
3) The resume-centric response of, “This is really going to destroy the benefit of the Columbia name”
Besides a couple more sympathetic and libertarian voices, these have been the opinions voiced by the myriad commenters online and the students with whom I have spoken.
