It’s a question we’ve all been asked by distant aunts, awkward new acquaintances, and advisors: What’s your major? And it’s all-too often that people majoring in religion, art history, philosophy and gender studies must answer the question that immediately follows: What are you going to do with that in the real world? Perhaps now more than ever, immediate employment is a major concern for college graduates entering a difficult job market.
