Tired of the winter doldrums? Then head down to Nolita for a pseudo-sunny pick-me-up. "Park Here," an indoor pop-up park featured in this week’s issue of The Eye, is furnished with cushy Astroturf and SAD lights. Admission is $1 and visitors can stay as long as they wish to bask in the constant 75-degree temperature and listen to a soundtrack of chirping birds–like a real park but without all of the mud and pollen.
Due to its success, the park has been extended through Feb. 13. So grab a blanket and pick up an issue of The Eye for some perfect park reading (or, just sleep off your hangover on one of their giant beanbags). Check out more pictures of “Park Here” after the jump.
