Student developers integral to Barnard website redesign

Student developers Adrienne Hezghia, BC ’12, and Amy Ho, BC ’12, were two of the many Barnard students to participate in the process of building the new website. Amy, an ACE (Academic Computing Expert) at BCIT, and Adrienne, who works with Barnard's Electronic Communications team, both spent time throughout break preparing the new website (Adrienne from abroad in Paris!). Their work required them to visit nearly every corner of the site, coding for new pages or transferring old content over. They did a professional job, but both simply enjoy web development as a hobby and not as a future career.

Of working on the project Adrienne said, “It's really amazing to know that I was a part of something so important to Barnard. The previous website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and did not properly reflect the needs of its users. I think the new website addresses all these concerns, and propels the college's online presence by giving it a progressive, new design.”
