"Hope springs eternal," goes the old saying, and nowhere is it truer than the Columbia football team. The athletic department released the 2011 schedule earlier yesterday, and along with the usual suspects, there are two new foes on the slate. Columbia will host Albany and Sacred Heart, in the first-ever game against both of those schools. The schedule is headlined by the homecoming game against Penn on Oct. 15. Let's just hope it turns out better than the last one or, well, the one before that. Full schedule after the jump.
