According to Technolog, Columbia Sociology Professor Sudhir Venkatesh says Facebook is the new social networking tool of choice for the modern prostitute. Apparently the Craigslist crackdown simply led to more use of Facebook, and Venkatesh's research found that 83 percent of adult-service workers have a profile.
