Getting the most out of your tuition: Gulati edition

I've been hearing rumors about mysterious "Gulati lunches" for Principles of Economics students, apparently a must for any Columbia bucket list. Since I'm almost certain I'll never be able to take an econ class myself, I had to find someone on the inside to give me the lowdown. Enter Zhaarn, Principles student extraordinaire. He was one of eight students to dine with Gulati today, in the last in the professor's first batch of lunches. Seems he used those little clicker things to collect data from all his classes in order to know how many lunches were necessary ("click if you want to eat with me!"). After signing up at Gulati's office, it was finally lunchtime. What follows is Zhaarn's account of the momentous occasion:
