Being sick at school is the worst. I don't know how I forgot this fact, since I get sick an average of one out of every two weeks during the winter months, but it was driven home in a big way this week. Miserable, lousy week. I slept for at least 50 hours straight and hallucinated something about a bear and a cactus. At least one of those statements is true. But I digress. The point is, I lived to tell the tale and can share the wisdom I gleaned from the ordeal. And so, here is my conveniently numbered guide to being sick at Columbia:
1. Go to the Health Services website and schedule an appointment. When you get to the part that asks you if your condition is life threatening, click "no." You're going to be fine.
