Get hungry, foodies---it's another food cart! This weekend, the Desi Food Truck graced the corner of Broadway and 113th Street with vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian offerings like Chicken Tikka Masala, Dall and Rice, and "Kati Rolls" ("Indian griddled flat bread with meat or vegetarian filling with coriander mint sauce, optional hot chilly sauce, wrapped in a roll.") We went for the Aloo Masala Kati Roll ($4.50), and it was basically your standard Indian fare with a street-friendly halal taste. But if it's greasy Indian rolls that you're craving, you're probably better off heading over to Roti Roll on Amsterdam instead, which offers two rolls of Aloo Masala (spiced potatoes and sweet pea mix) for the price of one Kati Roll from Desi Food Truck. Pics after the jump.
