For its Earth Day special, PBS has nominated a video submitted by the Columbia University-Engineers Without Borders Ghana team detailing their work in sustainable development. The team works in the rural village of Obodan, Ghana to improve sanitation and access to water resources. In their efforts to update their last project in the village, they've created a latrine that separates liquid and solid waste in order to facilitate energy conversion.
