There's a rule in both conversation and blogging that says never talk about the weather (unless of course you're speaking/blogging in an elevator with someone you only kind of know). I think that's probably a good idea, but since this post isn't exactly about today's weather I'm going to go ahead and break that rule. That said, I should let you know that the below is directed at first-years from outside the Northeast and people otherwise unfamiliar with spring in New York. If you don't fall into either of those categories, you're better off spending the next few minutes doing something more worthwhile (don't read into that title, it's just a good song).
