Why the administration got the frat decision right

The Division of Student Affairs announced on Thursday its decision to kick Pike, AEPi, and PsiU out of their brownstones and to give the three frats probationary recognition for the next three years. I've been going back and forth on the issue, but it seems to me like administration got it right, for once.

There were a couple reasons why I was hesitant to write an opinion on the topic. For one, my fellow blogger Raphael Pope-Sussman wrote a post a few weeks ago that said it better than I ever could. And secondly, I'm not in a fraternity, so my authority on the issue is questionable.
