The facts: Halfway down 115th toward Riverside sits Schapiro, Columbia's answer to a severe lack of housing for its undergrad population. As the second most recently built dorm, Schapiro has the advantage of being built in the second half of the 20th century, but with that comes the fact that renovations to the building are less pressing than to others. With lots of doubles and singles, Schapiro is a decent option for sophomores with good lottery numbers and juniors with not-so-good ones.
