Barnard classes compete in a cake war

There’s nothing like a good slice of cake and some friendly culinary competition to welcome you back from spring break. To kick off next month's Greek Games, McAC and Barnard’s class councils hosted a "cake war" from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. today in Liz’s Place on the first floor of the Diana. Minimal seniors (and no juniors) showed up for the contest, so the battle was mostly between sophomores and freshmen. Sophomores took the cake---literally---and won points for their class. Every participant was awarded a free apron to decorate, and there were ample amounts of leftover cake, class-colored candy, and fruit. Pictures of the cakes after the jump.
