The facts: Right on the corner of 113th, McBain is the home of the greatest shaft Columbia has to offer---all but the very bottom of the barrel can easily pick into a McBain double, maybe even going in blind! While the location is decent and the doubles can be a good size, recent renovations have eliminated any "great" options in the building. But we hear it's nice and warm on the shaft, and you can never tell exactly what the weather is doing out those windows, so it's like a surprise every time you walk outside!
