You won't find a job next year, but at least these videos are funny

Fellow blogger and flow-chart enthusiast Thomas Rhiel sent out an email yesterday asking if anyone at Spectrum opinion wanted to write about this article on college grads and the labor market. Since I was due to publish today and I since I trust Thomas's nose for this sort of thing (the man knows blogging), I volunteered to do it.

After rereading the post today, however, I realized that I just didn't have much to add in the way of opinion. It basically says that 1.) it's very hard for college grads to find jobs in this labor market, 2.) those grads who do find jobs are often underemployed, 3.) even those who find jobs and are NOT underemployed often have lower salaries and work at less-prestigious companies/institutions than grads who find jobs in a bull market, and 4.) those lower starting salaries and less prestigious first jobs lead to future lower-salaries and less prestigious jobs.
