I signed up for Carman two years ago when I was a prefrosh, thinking "YA I WANT FRIENDZ". Studying diligently, cooking regularly, cleaning... those were things that did NOT happen in Carman. Instead, it was all about cart races down the hallway, putting couches in the elevator, barbecue in the lounge, hooking up in bathroom stalls, jungle juice, and of course, those always-open doors. Now, in upperclassmen housing, the silence in the hallways is eerie. I've grown up, yes, but sometimes I almost miss the joyful depravity of Carman life.
