Facing unceasing pressure from the New York based group, GRASS (Group Responsible for the Advocacy of Small Shrubs), Columbia University public safety has announced that the lawns will be re-tarped for the remainder of the year. According to GRASS, the past century has witnessed increased rates of students playing frisbee, sunbathing and engaging in general outdoor tomfoolery. As FroSci students are well aware, this unprecedented change has raised extinction rates of grasses and small green plantlife.
