The final recap: Suite Selection is OVER

We made it---the last day of suite selection! The unluckiest of sophomores filed in to make peace with their future homes and most found that things weren’t as bad as they expected. As predicted in yesterday’s recap, though some chose to live in the McBain Shaft, they only did so of their own volition. Options remained available in Wien, Schapiro, and Broadway until the day’s close, as only Nussbaum was filled completely. So why would anyone choose to live in the Shaft? Many were attracted to the big rooms (with some as big as 288 square feet) while others just wanted to live near their friends. It’s another example of how everything, especially at this late stage, is about personal preferences---there are very few objectively bad rooms.
