Lots of people—and by lots of people, I mean the people I hang out around—are talking about the job market for soon-to-be college graduates. I'm not an economist, but as I understand it, this job market thing is a lot like a game of musical chairs. Everyone runs around in a circle while the music plays and then has to sit down in a chair when the birthday girl's mom turns off the music. Except there aren't enough chairs for everyone! So you have to fight over the final chair, scratching and clawing at the runty kid next to you, and eventually knocking him to the floor with a hard elbow.
What a fun game!
