We’ve already covered and broken down the news regarding what the lack of rooms in suite selections means for sophomores and the unluckiest of juniors. Below is what everyone else can expect for General Selection. Keep in mind that, as always, General Selection is really hard to predict. There are no group sizes to give us clues as to which rooms will be taken. Furthermore, given that we can’t keep up with General Selection as easily as we can with Suite Selection (everything is online, no speaking with groups in John Jay, etc.), the cutoff history is tougher to verify. If you find something here that doesn’t jive with what you remember from the past, please let us know in the comments.
The first rooms to be taken will be the Watt studio singles, the most desirable singles on campus. With almost half of these unavailable from the start, there are only six up for grabs and the cutoff could be as early as 30/88, though they could last into the 100s if some seniors turn them down.
