Kathy Sun, presidential candidate of the FUtastic party, has resigned from the election to run for president of the class of 2014's Engineering Student Council. This decision came after a hearing yesterday, in which the ESC Elections Board decided to have a re-vote for the presidential position, when re-evaluated penalties to the DemocraSEAS party resulted in there being a tie in votes between Sun and DemocraSEAS candidate and incumbent Akshay Shah, rather than Sun winning the presidential position. Shah is now the only candidate for ESC 2014 president.
