Spectrum had a chance to speak with Lisa Mack, (arguably) the person who started Columbia's pillow fight tradition. At midnight, get primal, and whip out those pillows!
Spectrum: Why did you plan the pillow fight event, what did you hope to get out of it, what was your experience like last year, and what else do you think is relevant to know?
Lisa: My freshman year there was a pillow fight, but it had yet to be solidified as a tradition, so a then senior told me to make sure the tradition was carried on, so last year I made the facebook group and hoped for the best. A few days later, Sue Yang made another facebook group, not knowing mine existed, so we talked about it, and instead of deleting one of the groups, we decided to make it a competition. My group became "Team Butler", and hers "Team Sundial" (for the record, Team Butler TOTALLY dominated.)
