The first to be named, on June 27, was new men's and women's fencing coach Michael Aufrichtig. He has some pretty big shoes to fill, with legendary Columbia coaches George Kolombatovich and Aladar Kogler both retiring this year after having spent 33 years and 28 years respectively with the program. Aufrichtig was picked over more than 50 applicants. You can read more about Aufrichtig here.
