You have to credit our Econ professor, the current President of the US Soccer Federation (USSF), for his persistence. He had been chasing the German since his exploits in the 2006 World Cup. Now the question goes from, “Can he get him?” to “Should he have gotten him?”
Some US soccer fans, not many, will argue that Bob Bradley should not have been let go. Bradley, a former Ivy League player and head coach at Princeton, does deserve credit for the progression of the team during his tenure; he certainly did a commendable job.
