No doubt in fury that our dean resigned, the Earth goddess Gaia has struck New York City with ...an earthquake? Yep.
The 5.8 earthquake, which was centered in Virginia, was bad enough to cause the Pentagon to evacuate, but alas, appears to have caused no damage (but lots of buzz and hushes) at Columbia. To everyone who's already at Columbia, you can state to your future grandchildren, "I survived the New York Earthquake of 2011."
