Around 10:00 p.m. NYPD and Public Safety officers arrested a man outside the John Jay residence hall. The suspect was tackled by a plainclothes officer, and several students helped in the initial chase before the arrest was made. One student was instructed by an officer (in what Spectrum can only imagine was like a scene from the best B-rate action movie) to "Stop that man!" There has been no word yet on the reason for the arrest.
