In case you haven't heard, Columbia, next week 15 students in the Columbia International Relations Council and Association may have a chance to dine with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. I say "in case you haven't heard," because I'm a little surprised nobody on campus is making much noise over it.
Or I was surprised, anyway. But then I began to think about the differences between this event and Ahmadinejad's appearance on campus in 2007, and things began to make a little more sense.
