Columbia Law School alum hopes to help create jobs in struggling cities

Detroit, New Orleans, Providence, and recent college graduates. It's hard to imagine the latter finding itself within the city limits of any of the former three—particularly while job hunting.

Andrew Yang, Columbia Law School '99, hopes to change that. Yang is the founder and President of Venture for America, through which he wants to simultaneously spur job growth in struggling cities and help aspiring college graduates become successful entrepreneurs.
