The USenate has announced a hearing for next Monday to discuss the possibility that students will have to go off campus to light up in 2012. The agenda includes a review of last year's resolution, which forbade smoking withing 20 feet of campus buildings, its implementation, and, finally, a discussion of the proposal to ban smoking on campus entirely. The Senate may decide to vote on the proposed smoking ban on October 14 if they feel that the issue has been properly discussed.
