Mayor Bloomberg may think that New York lacks a top-quality school for applied sciences, but News Editor Sarah Darville reported Friday that PrezBo and Dean Peña-Mora are determined to prove Columbia's presence by entering a city-sponsored competition meant to bring a new applied science campus to the city. While NYC is looking to utilize space on Governor's and Roosevelt Islands, Columbia's proposal suggests using the "ready to build" Manhattannville expansion.
