An unlikely venue has decided to carry on the spirit of Oktoberfest---Le Monde. Yep, the (faux) fancy French place on Broadway, between 112th and 113th streets, is holding a Sausage and Beer Festival until October 21.
The festival is actually sponsored by the Tour de France Restaurant Group and includes eight other restaurants besides Le Monde, each with its own unique menu. Marseille (630 Ninth Avenue at 44th Street) is offering a Seafood Sausage topped with lobster cream. French Roast uptown (2340 Broadway at 85th Street), however, has taken the Italian approach with an Individual Pizza with Garlic Sausage, Brie, and Portobello.
