So let's admit it - most of us at Columbia and Barnard think we're pretty awesome. I mean, we're ranked #4 and thousands of high schoolers aspire to be in our position (remember when you were one of them?). But, believe it or not, sometimes we've got to face the reality that, in fact, we really aren't that special.
Sure, we can talk about Foucault until our faces turn blue. We know The Odyssey like the back of our hands. We may as well be BFFs with Homer. But can we produce internationally acclaimed paintings? Compose complex symphonies? Yes? Well, could you do it at two? Thought so. These five child prodigies remind us that even though we are all pretty special, we're just not that special. And that's cool too—so get out of Butler and start enjoying yourself more, because let's face it, we can't really catch up.
