Attention all cupcake connoisseurs: you no longer have to make the grueling trek to the nearest Magnolia's for deliciously artistic baked goods. We're pleased to announce the grand opening of Crumbs Bake Shop right here in MoHi (2814 Broadway at 109th Street). Between two bellies, we were able to demolish two giant-sized cupcakes and a 12-pack assorted sampler (with no regrets). Check out some must-knows below. Cupcake review and photos after the jump.
The bakery is very spacious, and it offers free Wi-Fi. Take that, Hungarian Pastry Shop!
Crumbs cupcakes are much larger than Magnolia’s, with a higher cake to frosting ratio and a larger variety of flavors from which to choose. Plus, you no longer have to pay the pesky metro fee to get your sugar fix.
At $3.75 a pop, each cupcake is definitely large enough to split with a friend. Maybe even two.
The coffee is great (if you stop by today, coffee is on the house!)
