Quel honneur! Our distinguished professor of French and comparative literature Antoine Compagnon was awarded the prestigious Claude Lévi-Strauss Prize on Tuesday evening, fittingly at a fancy soirée in Paris among the literary elite.
This prize---which comes with a hefty 100,000 euros---was crafted by the Ministry in 2009 and is awarded each year to a different candidate who achieves excellence in social science methods. The winners are determined by the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences.
