1. Findings from USenator Kenny Durell's Bacchanal Investigation Report:
Timeline:
March 27: Commencement and University Event Management meet, don’t “find any glaring issues."
April 1: Bacchanal announces Snoop Dogg and Das Racist. This is the first time Public Safety/Facilities hears of the artist choices (via Spectator and Bwog).
April 12: First event review and gathering of data---there is no mention of a lawn move.
April 19: Second event review at which the University Committee convenes. This is the first time Bacchanal is told of the move to the lawns. The costs are implied but not discussed explicitly.
April 30: Concert draws 8,000+ attendees and “Public Safety fears/reasons for moving the event appear justified.”
Early June: Public Safety/Facilities charges hit the account.
