After seeing the trailer for The Descendants over and over again, I walked into the theater expecting some movie about a daughter gone Lindsay Lohan and the magical father who saves the family from total chaos with love, sunshine, and rainbows.
But, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I instead had bought a ticket to a heartwarming story of a family that finds its way back to how it used to be. The movie focuses on Matt King, played by George Clooney, who is struggling to put his family back together after a boating accident put his wife into a coma.
