Treat yourself to a gristly sandwich from HamDel—we’re number one! In the Princeton Review’s recent list of schools in the best college towns, Columbia comes out on top. No surprises there: As the HuffPo article writes, “What is better than the Big Apple?” All other college towns bow down to MoHi’s fine pizzerias and rat-infested charming bakeries. But strangely, NYU ranks much lower on the list of “college towns”—number six, in fact—even though it is in the same city, and arguably a better neighborhood, than Columbia. Even stranger is the fact that Barnard, mere steps from Columbia’s campus, is way down at number seven.
