An anonymous tipster (read: bagel aficionado Mikey Zhong) sent in a frantic email earlier today, saying that Absolute Bagels is now charging tax on their delicious fluffy bagels and cream cheese spread. Whereas last week a bagel cost a mere $3.80, our tipster found himself forking over a grand total of $4.15 for his lunch.
But that's not where the horror ends. Spectrum also received tips letting us know that none other than Joe the Art of Coffee has unveiled a new menu, jumping on the "raising prices" bandwagon as well! For example, a ham and egg sandwich now costs $7.00—that's a price raise of 50. Whole. Cents.
