Last night the General Studies Student Council met. Michael Oakley, whose appointment to the council caused a whole lot of controversy in GSSC last year, is stepping down from his position. Keep reading to hear, among other things, about Barry Weinberg's ideas for the council. (Is it just me, or is this kid literally everywhere at once?)
- Finance VP Michael Oakley is resigning for personal reasons. Oakley, who was appointed to the GSSC executive board in September after the previous finance VP transferred to Columbia College, is withdrawing from school this semester and planning to return in the fall. Chief Finance Representative Peter Fisher will take over the position until a permanent finance VP is chosen.
