There's a Stevie Wonder song called "Rocket Love," and I feel like some of its lyrics are a perfect way to describe the weekend for men's basketball. The song's refrain is, "You took me riding in your rocket, gave me a star. But at a half a mile from heaven you dropped me back down to this cold, cold world."
How else can you describe a weekend where the Lions dominated Brown by a score of 86-60 Friday night, then led Yale by 21 points with 11:30 left to go in the game last night, but ended up losing 59-58?

However, it's undeniable that the weekend could have resulted in a better Ivy season record for the Lions than 3-5. But let's see what we can make of it all in this week's three quick thoughts.
