Writer/director Paul Weitz has had a hand in making some of the most popular movies of the past decade, including About a Boy, American Pie, and Little Fockers. In 2002, he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for About a Boy. Weitz’s most recent project Being Flynn, opens in theaters March 2 and explores the relationship between an estranged father and son. It stars Robert De Niro as Jonathan Flynn and Paul Dano, of Little Miss Sunshine fame, as Nick Flynn.
