"Letter to the Editor," by Professor Robert Pollack, current director of University seminars and a former Dean of Columbia College: "The current Dean of GSAS is correct to say that the reality is one of interdependence. But he is wholly mistaken about the nature of that interdependent reality."
"No to the siren song aimed at Columbia College," by José A. Cabranes, CC '61, Columbia trustee and judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the 2nd circuit: "Despite the warm embrace suggested by a goal of 'position[ing] the college more centrally in the life of Columbia’s faculty of arts and sciences,' this is exactly what proponents of Columbia College and the Core should fear most."
