For anyone remaining in New York over Spring Break and worried about a long, lonely week, good news: A new series at Anthology Film Archives may dissolve your desolation.
Anthology (32 Second Avenue and 2nd St.) is running a retrospective on independent filmmaker Nina Menkes, including all six of her feature movies and two shorter films. Beginning March 9th and running through the 16th, Anthology is screening her newest film, "Dissolution," daily (trailer at link). Select screenings of her other movies will run throughout the week.
