'Tis the season of student club elections.
Last night was the SGB's leadership transition, and I know that dozens of groups will be holding elections in the next several weeks. It's a reaffirmation of not only how quickly a year goes by, but also the importance of students having a say in the people who lead them.
Sadly, this democratic trend seems to limit itself to extracurricular life. No such thing seems to exist when it comes to appointing a permanent Dean of the College.
