This year, corresponding to Barnard's record number of applications, the admission rate is the lowest it has ever been—21 percent! 1,141 of the 5,440 applicants were admitted. This is almost 4 percent lower than last year's admissions rate. Huge congratulations to everyone who was accepted—it clearly wasn't easy!
