Columbia alumni are everywhere! The newest member of Saturday Night Live's cast is Kate McKinnon, better known around Morningside as Kate Berthold, CC '06.
McKinnon is already fairly well-known in comedy circles for her work on Big Gay Sketch Show. She'll be joining the SNL cast in the show's next episode, which airs this Saturday, Mar. 31. Katy Perry will host the episode, and the musical guest is Robyn Apr. 7. Sofia Vergara will host and One Direction will be the musical guest. Thanks to the commenters for your help!
