Want to show some school spirit before Bacchanal tomorrow?

As you know, with Holi tomorrow morning, and Bacchanal tomorrow afternoon, it's a huge weekend for Columbia school spirit. But if you'd like to get that spirit kicked off a little bit early, there's a great opportunity to do so tonight.

Here's the deal—the Columbia Rugby team will be squaring off against Yale at 7 o'clock at the Baker Athletics Complex. Yes, that means you'll have to take the 1 Train all the way up to 215th street, but once you get there, you'll be in for a treat.

First off, the team is good. In their last match against Malloy last Saturday, they beat the stuffing out of those guys 47-13. Talk about making another team look like powder puffs.

But the bigger point here is that, by the team's own admission, it's their biggest game of the season. What better way to kick off this weekend than cheering on the Light Blue against those preppy Yalies?

And if that isn't enough, they'll be giving away plenty of t-shirts and free food. (Yes, that's free food Columbians, we all like that.)

So put on your coat—it gets windy up at the tip of Manhattan—and head on up to Baker. If you need a refresher (or introductory) course to all the rules of Rugby, there's a nice video after the jump!
